The first thing that attracts my target audience on the front cover is having a model the same age as them which they can relate to, therefore making them feel like its more specifically made for them. The next thing that attracts them to purchasing it is the stylish, sleek and professional layout. The main image is positioned in the center with the coverlines positioned in the left and right thirds forming a rectangular shape, making it look detailed but organised. This is especially important for attracting a the higher class end of my target audience as they expect it to not be messy or cluttered for what they're paying. The burgundy used throughout the cover, contents and double page spread represents royalty and power which again attracts the higher end of class. Although the colour scheme is mainly black, white and burgundy, I have added splashes of yellow on the puff and some of the artists names to draw attention to them and catches the readers eye when on the shelves. The content includes festival and concerts news as well as information on how to get tickets which would attract my target audience as much of their time is spent at at music events.
